As It Gets"- Season Three. This series kicks off with a vignette
featuring Hicks Foundation Directors Jere and Lynn Raridon rescuing

Kudos
are in order....
Pre- season fundraiser at Alamo Drafthouse a big success!
Many thanks to our volunteers, the staff at the Alamo Drafthouse downtown
and especially you- our friends, supporters and fans of Bill- who made
our 3 night stand a rousing success amd helped us raise 20% of our annual
budget. This helps to get the season off to a very strong start, and
not a day too soon. Our team of rehabbers already has more than 30 oppossums
in care, plus a myriad of squirrels, birds and the first 2 litters of
raccoons, and it's only mid April!
More Thanks.....
A Special Thank You to William Burgess in LA who organized an event
there to raise some funds
for the critters and keep Bill's legacy alive, thank you William.

Call for volunteers!
For those of you who signed up, have emailed or called about how you
can help, we have some opportunities for you! Help with a massive clean
up at Director Jere Raridon's house. We need able bodied folks to bring
gloves, weedwhackers, lawnmowers, chain saws and tools as we try to
help get the grounds cleaned and organized in preparation for the summer
animal season. We also need any one with carpentry skills who can help
complete assemblage of a storage shed, repair AC duct and possibly even
patch a roof.
Food, beverages and lots of camaraderie provided. RSVP to Lynn via email
(info@billhicksfoundation.org) or call 461-2355 for more information.
An as always- thank you for your continued
care and support, or as Bill would say..
"Until you can name all of the animals, shut up and go back to
the garden"

We would LOVE to see more events that honor Bill's memory and keep his
legacy alive (& they do not have to be benefits
for the foundation).
Have a house party, a bake sale but just do something to keep the Love
Laughter and Truth alive!
